Unsurprising News Flash - Communists Lie -- Again!
Malcolm Muggeridge had it so right when he wrote, "Not only can the camera lie, it always lies."
When China placed 9-year-old LinMiaoke on the stage during the opening ceremony of the Olympics (which I did not watch, by the way), did they really think no one would notice that she was not truly singing? Even Milli Vanilli, dumb grownups that they were, couldn't make it work.
I feel sorry for YangPeiYi, the 7-year-old child who was the real singer. Apparently, Olympics director ZhangYiMou thought that she was not pretty enough to perform because she had a chubby face and crooked teeth.

Full Story.
Look at that face! Well, I think she's adorable. Wouldn't it have been better for them to put the real girl on the air and have everyone commenting about how beautiful -- and how beautiful a singer she was? Of course. But am I surprised that the Communists would lie -- again -- about something to make themselves look good? No.
This little girl is just as priceless as the one who took her physical spot in the opening ceremony. I know she says she's happy to have her voice in the opening, I bet she doesn't mean it. But she doesn't have the freedom to say what she thinks.
So I will presume to do so. How much more fakery is yet to come in these Olympic games out of the Chinese government? They may want to put their "best face" forward, but the only thing that I see is that they are a bunch of deceivers.
