Last night I had the opportunity to do an impromptu show for a bunch of teenaged hockey players at the hotel where I was staying. The FCM Conference in Livonia had ended, far too early for my taste since there was no second evening show, and so I decided to hang out in the hotel breakfast room and play.

Some of the best pieces I performed were Cards Across (thank you, Bill Malone!) and Ambitious Card (thank you, Tommy Wonder and Jay Sankey!), and I even made a little bit of money from the kids at the end of the day.

I consider it good practice for the coffeehouse coming up in a couple of weeks.
